🌬️ What to Expect: Scent Throw

Cold throw (unlit): a soft, creamy coconut and vanilla impression — subtle but present when you lift the lid or pass nearby.

Hot throw (lit): rich, tropical, and room-filling. The 13 oz is sized to scent a medium-to-large room (up to ~350 sq ft). For best results, allow a full melt pool to form before moving the candle to another space.

Scent intensity is medium-strong — noticeable and enveloping without being overwhelming.

🔥 First Burn: Set the Memory

The first burn is the most important one. Follow these steps for a candle that performs beautifully every time:

• Burn for at least 2–3 hours on the first light — long enough for the melt pool to reach the edges of the jar.
• Never exceed 4 hours per burn session.
• Allow the candle to cool completely (2+ hours) before relighting.
• Always burn on a heat-safe surface, away from drafts, children, and pets.
• Stop burning when ½ inch of wax remains at the bottom.

🪵 Wooden Wick Care

Wooden wicks are part of what makes Cozy Cravings candles special — they crackle softly and burn cleaner. Here’s how to keep them performing their best:

• Trim before every burn: Keep your wick at ¼ inch. Too long = large, smoky flame. Too short = difficulty staying lit.
• Clear the ash: Gently break off any charred wood from the tip before relighting. Use a wick trimmer or your fingers once the wax is fully cooled.
• Mushrooming or flickering? Extinguish, let cool, trim the wick, and relight.
• Won’t stay lit? The wick may be too long or have buildup — trim shorter and try again.
• Use a snuffer (not breath) to extinguish — this prevents wax splatter and wick drift.
